I downloaded and ran the installer from here

It completed without error, but launching onedrive for business still runs groove.exe (it should be onedrive.exe, it says so on the same site). Also, onedrive.exe cannot be found on C:

I have Windows 10 on a Surface Pro 3. I am trying to use Visual Studio Code. Unfortunately, there seems to be no combination whatsoever where I can run my program. Any time I hit F5 or ctrl f5 or shift f5, the windows 10 search bar from the OS pops up.
There seems to be no way to make the application received the F5 before the OS and I can find no way to swap any key to make the program

I connected my LinkedIn profile with my Hotmail account (a decision I will rue rest of my life) and it resulted in all of my LinkedIn contacts birthdays being stored to my Outlook Calendar. Whenever I try to delete those birthdays from calendar, it doesn't let me even edit it. It's quite agonizing as I don't want these birthdays on my calendar.
Can anyone help me there? Thanks!

I run into a problem with my exteal HDD, i used it for backups but when i reinstalled windows (and forgot to remove the HDD) my HDD got whiped. After the whipe suddenly my HDD splitted itself into multiple Disks. Ive tried evrything and googles alot but no succes.
I would like to bring it back to one disk, just like it was when i bought it.
Can anyone help me out, or give me some tips on how to achieve this?
Here is an image of the partitions, if you need any extra details of information let me know and i will post it!

I'm currently trying to connect my local machine remotely to my server in the office. The objective is to set this machine up as a domain oppose to workstation so it acts the same as if it was in the office.
I've established a successful VPN to the Server with no problems. I tried connecting to the domain using xyz.local however it couldn't find it.
I've then amended the ipv4 settings for the VPN for which the primary and secondary DNS are pointing to what the server gives out. Still no luck.
I've also noticed using ipconfig /all the default gateway is 0.0.0.0 ?
I tried disabling the WIFI adapter but that disconnects everything.
Any suggestions?

Every once in a while I run a certain program (MATLAB) and it takes up too much memory. At this stage the physical mem is at ~100% and the computer barely works.
I then terminate MATLAB and I can see the memory is freed on the task manager (image). However, it takes about 5-10 minutes until I have full control over my computer back. In these 10 minutes the computer gradually becomes usable, open programs get 'unfreezed', etc.
I guess that if MATLAB consumed all the memory then some other program's data was saved in the swap mem, but is it okay for this process of 'recovery' to take such a long time?
I'm using Windows 7 with intel i5-2500 and 12GB RAM.

I tried enabling the New Management flag and adding a supervised user. But the option to lock a user profile was not activated. Is there a way to password protect a chrome user profile or lock the whole browser(like firefox's master password)

I try to set a root password as follows:

For the first time since Windows 95, Windows 8/8.1 ceased to offer the "Advanced Appearance Settings", which enabled the following customizations:

That is a shame, not only because users lost customization power, but specifically because it made much more difficult for an user to set its own dark-theme version of the system.
Is there any way to change such colors in Windows 8.1? Notice that I am not talking about merely doing this and I also am not talking about patching the Windows to use customized 3rd party themes. I talking about a way for users to customize the colors of the windows in Windows 8.1 (trough registry, trough hidden options, trough a third party software that tries to recover such lost options, etc).
